In effort to work through emotional dilemmas, it is not uncommon to seek the church for encouragement, support, and guidance. Naive, spiritually uneducated, and without question, we rely on the church’s devout teaching for a deeper understanding of life and its meaning. As newcomers to religion, most of us joined church with the false impression that the members and leaders were harmless, righteous people who were equally committed to serving the Lord’s purpose.

However, it is important to remember that just because someone carries a bible and quote scriptures doesn’t automatically mean they are sincere, sanctified and filled with the Holy Ghost. The church may be growing in size but it is decreasing in ethical principles. This backwards movement is a steady regression to the former state of worship where everlasting life was thought to be reserved for the wealthy who could afford to pay for it.

False prophets have manage to lead people from the grace of God to the pit of hell. How is it possible that these wolves were able to creep into the church undetected and last for such an extended period of time?

Spiritual Authority

Spiritual authority is the Holy Spirit, not he pastor
With all the biblical warnings of false prophets, why are church goers reluctant to test the fruit of some so called preachers to confirm and verify they are in allegiance with God and not a god?
